When is the best time to book a newborn session?
Newborn photography sessions are best booked in the middle of your second trimester.
Kindly send me a message, email, or even a text.
I would love to schedule your consultation to be sure we go over all the details for your session. I will be sure to mark my calendar for your baby's arrival, know he or she may not come on your due date.
Only a limited number of newborn sessions are scheduled each month to insure I am free to accommodate them all within the needed time frame.
** If you're baby has arrived, please reach out to me as soon as possible.**
How old should my baby be for the newborn session?
Newborns are best photographed when they are within the first 12 days.
Its is so easy in the excitement of bringing home a brand new baby to forget or let the time pass you by but timing is very important in scheduling your newborn session.
I ask you let me know as soon as your newest bundle has arrived to ensure getting you on the schedule within those precious days of your new babies life.
What do I need for a newborn session?
Nothing at all, I am prepared with all the newborn props.
Of course I will also use any special props or clothes you provide during the shoot but please advise at time of booking or when baby has arrived.
I provide multiple blankets, baskets, wraps, and heaters which are just a few of the additional items I have/bring to get those adorable pictures.
The naked poses are my personal favorite and accidents are sure to happen, this is why I have waterproof pads. All props and blankets are prewashed in baby detergent.
How long will our session take?
Where do the sessions take place?
Can you tell me a little bit about your style?
A newborn session can range anywhere from 1.5 to 4 hours. Although sometimes it can take a little bit longer.
It is best to plan for some extra time as you can't rush a baby and your baby may need to feed during the session.
I will spend plenty of time with you and your baby to capture those sweet moments you are hoping for.
Newborn sessions are taken place in my studio located in Winter Haven FL, Northern NJ, or in the convenience of your home.
Please be advised if you would like me to come to your home there is a $75 fee.
I love to work with natural light but sometimes artificial light is required. The colors I use are per your request, without an overuse of props.
I do not pose any unnatural or forced poses with newborn babies. Safety is my number one priority.
